Product Description
Hyundai Sonata Chrome Door Handle Covers, 8-Piece Kit for 2015-2019 Sedans (DH15360)
The Sonata has clean, simple door handles, which makes them an ideal canvas for chrome. DH15360 is QAA's eight-piece chrome plated ABS door handle cover kit for the 2015-2019 Hyundai Sonata 4-door sedan. It slips the factory finish under a bright polished shell and gives the side of the car an upscale accent that is visible from across a parking lot.
One detail to check: the passenger side
The catalog note for this kit reads "Without passenger side key access." The covers do not leave an opening for a key cylinder on the passenger side handle. Before ordering, walk around your Sonata and look at the passenger handle, so the finished look matches what you expect.
Model years covered
This kit is listed for one vehicle: the Hyundai Sonata 4-door sedan, years 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. The Fitment tab shows that single row as QAA catalogs it. If your Sonata falls outside those years, give us a call and we will check what QAA offers.
About the material
Every piece is ABS plastic, chrome plated and polished, and imported. Because ABS is molded rather than cut from sheet, it can wrap the contours of a door handle and its surround. The chrome layer is what produces the mirror shine. This is different from the 304 stainless steel QAA uses for its accent trims, and it is the usual choice when you want the handle itself covered rather than just highlighted.
Installing the kit, step by step
On the 2015-2019 Sonata, each of the eight chrome covers mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. QAA says it will hold for a lifetime with no damage to the vehicle's surface.
- Wash the handles, then wipe them with a degreaser to remove hand oils.
- Let each surface dry completely.
- Test fit every cover by hand before any of them goes on.
- Position the cover and press firmly for a few seconds so the tape takes hold.
Avoid washing the car for a short while afterward so the tape can settle. More detail is in the Installation tab.
Eight pieces, four doors
The eight pieces cover the four door handles and the areas around them. QAA's catalog does not identify each individual piece, so sort them against the product photos before you start. Keep the pieces you are not using yet in their packaging so the tape stays clean, and work one door at a time.
Add pillar posts for a finished side profile
QAA lists two pillar post kits for the same 2015-2019 Sonata sedan:
- PP15360: four-piece pillar post trim
- PP15361: six-piece pillar post trim
The data only distinguishes them by piece count, so compare the photos or call to choose. Chrome handles together with pillar posts give the side of the car a consistent bright finish. Both kits are linked in the Fitment tab.

Installation tips: Door Handle Cover Kit
- Unpack all 8 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
