Product Description
Chrome Door Handle Covers, 8 Pieces, for Cadillac CTS, DTS, DeVille, Seville, Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy and Oldsmobile Bravada (DH40245)
Seven vehicles, four brands, one kit. DH40245 is an eight-piece chrome door handle cover set that QAA lists for a wide group of four-door Cadillac sedans and GM SUVs. The covers are molded from polished chrome-plated ABS plastic and imported. With this many vehicles on one part number, the most useful thing on this page is the list below.
Every vehicle and year range
- Cadillac CTS, 2003-2007
- Cadillac DTS, 2006-2011
- Cadillac DeVille, 2000-2005
- Cadillac Seville, 1998-2004
- Chevrolet Trailblazer, 2002-2009
- GMC Envoy, 2002-2009
- Oldsmobile Bravada, 2002-2004
Year ranges differ from model to model, from three years on the Bravada to eight on the Trailblazer and Envoy, so find your own vehicle's row and check the year against it. All rows are tagged 4-door, and each carries a body list that names both sedan and SUV. The body field is the same on every row, so it does not separate the sedans from the SUVs; the model name and year are what matter here. The Fitment tab shows every row as QAA catalogs it.
Key cylinders
The catalog does not include a key access note for this kit, so it does not say whether the covers have keyhole openings or on which doors. Check the product photos against your own handles, or call us before ordering if your doors have lock cylinders you want to keep using.
Eight pieces
The kit includes eight pieces for four doors. The catalog does not label them individually, so sort them using the photos before you start.
Chrome-plated ABS
ABS is a tough molded plastic. These covers are plated in bright chrome and polished, and their molded shape gives each handle area a full chrome look rather than a flat strip. On a Cadillac sedan or a GM SUV with existing chrome, they help carry that finish along the doors.
Install
Each cover attaches with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime without causing any damage to the surface of the vehicle. Wash each handle area, wipe it with a degreaser to remove wax, and let it dry. Dry-fit every piece to check alignment, then press firmly for several seconds. Keep the vehicle dry for a while afterward so the tape can settle. The Installation tab has full steps.
Order of work
Go around the CTS one door at a time, finishing each before you start the next. Set each cover lightly first, step back to look at it, and only then press it home. On a taller SUV, a step stool helps you see the handle straight on.
For mixed garages
If you own a Cadillac sedan and a GM SUV from this list, the same part number is cataloged for both. That is unusual in trim parts and handy for families or small fleets.
Before ordering
Confirm your model, your year within that model's row, and your lock layout. When all three line up, this is the kit.

Installation tips: Door Handle Cover Kit
- Unpack all 8 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
