Whichever door you begin with, that first cover is where you get a feel for how the Silverado covers seat. The passenger front takes the solid cover; the rear doors follow. Set each piece lightly, step back to check it against the door's lines, and only then press it home along its full outline.
Conditions that help
Foam tape bonds best on clean, dry paint at a mild temperature, out of direct sun. If the Silverado was recently waxed, degrease the handle areas a second time. Avoid washing the truck or driving through heavy rain until the tape has had time to set.
