Product Description
Equinox & Terrain 2018-2024 Snap-On Top-Half Mirror Covers (MC58160)
MC58160 is a snap-on set of chrome covers for the upper half of the outside mirrors on two crossovers: the Chevrolet Equinox and the GMC Terrain, each listed from 2018 through 2024. Both rows are tagged 4-door SUV. The note reads "Top Half only, Snap on replacement," and no tape or adhesive appears on the record.
The title leaves out the years
The listing title names the Equinox and Terrain but no model years, so check the rows. They both run 2018 to 2024, seven years each. An Equinox or Terrain older than 2018 isn't on these rows; the catalog lists separate top-half sets for earlier years of these vehicles, which aren't linked here.
Snap-on, as far as the record goes
The catalog says the covers snap on and calls them a replacement. It doesn't say what, if anything, they replace on the housing, how they lock in place, or what they measure. It also doesn't mention a turn signal opening. Since the chrome covers only the top half, compare the photos with where any lamp sits on your mirrors. Questions are welcome at Quality Automotive Trims, 877-752-3811.
Is snap-on right for you?
The main reason to choose this set is the mounting. If you'd prefer not to put adhesive on your mirror housings, a snap-on design suits that preference. If you're happy with tape, ask whether a taped top-half set is listed for your year, since none is linked on this sheet.
Material
- The package holds two covers
- Made from ABS plastic that is chrome plated and polished
- Imported
Chevrolet or GMC, one part
The two rows are identical in years and tags, so Equinox and Terrain owners order the same SKU. No other parts are cross-listed on this sheet, so if you're looking for more trim for your crossover, search by your model and year or ask when you call.
Preparing for a snap-on fit
Wash the mirror housings with soap and water and dry them, so you're working on a clean surface and can spot any cracks. Repair damage before fitting. Look at the photos to understand how each cover sits on the top of its mirror, and offer it up by hand to check the alignment before you press it into place. Match each cover to its mirror first.
Because no adhesive is listed, the tape steps on the Installation tab may not apply to this set. Follow the photos, and call if anything about the fit isn't clear before you apply pressure.
After fitting
Stand in front of the vehicle and compare both mirrors. The lower edges of the two covers should sit at the same height. If one looks different, call before trying to adjust it.
Care
Wash the chrome with mild soap, water and a soft cloth. Abrasive pads, compounds and harsh chemicals can scratch or dull the plating.
Confirm your year
Compare your model year with the row. Check it before ordering, especially if your crossover is close to 2018.

Installation tips: Mirror Cover Set
- Unpack all 2 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- QAA lists this part as snap-on. Line each piece up with its location and press it on evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
