Ford Edge and Explorer owners have two handle cover kits to choose from in the QAA catalog, and DH51330 is the one without keyless-entry openings. If your Edge or Explorer has touch-sensor keyless entry on its handles, DH51360 is designed to leave those points open. If your handles have no sensors, this kit gives you clean, uninterrupted chrome. Neither kit has a passenger key cylinder opening.

Eight covers, four doors
The catalog does not identify each piece, so match the eight covers to their doors with the product photos before cleaning. Keeping them grouped by door makes the install go quickly.
Material
The covers are ABS plastic molded to the handle shape, then chrome-plated and polished to a mirror finish. The factory handles stay in place and work as usual.
Putting them on
QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime without causing any damage to the surface of the vehicle. Wash the handles and the paint around them, then degrease and let everything dry. Why the handles
Door handles are touched every day and sit right at eye level along the side of the SUV. Chrome there is one of the quickest ways to brighten the Edge's profile without changing anything structural, and the covers go on in an afternoon with only cleaning supplies.
A placement tip
Before mounting anything, mark each cover's position with a couple of small strips of painter's tape. Once the adhesive touches paint, it grabs hard, so a reference mark makes the final placement a single confident move.
Conditions
Install on a mild, dry day, out of direct sun. Keep the SUV dry overnight so the tape can set, and give recently waxed paint a second degreaser pass.
Upkeep
Mild soap, a soft towel, and no abrasive pads keep the chrome looking its best.
