Product Description
Ford Escape 2013-2019 and Focus 2012-2018 Chrome Door Handle Covers, 8 Pieces (DH52345)
DH52345 is an eight-piece chrome door handle cover kit that QAA lists for three Ford four-door vehicles: the Escape, the Focus hatchback and the Focus sedan. The covers are polished chrome-plated ABS plastic, imported, mounting with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. The note on this kit reads "Does not include passenger key access."
Fitment by model
- Ford Escape, 2013-2019
- Ford Focus Hatchback, 2012-2018
- Ford Focus Sedan, 2012-2018
Every row is four-door. The rows share one combined body list of SUV, hatchback and sedan instead of naming each model's own body, which we have flagged. The model names themselves make the intent clear, and the Fitment tab shows the rows as recorded.
Choosing between two Ford kits
QAA lists a sibling for the same vehicles, DH53361, also an eight-piece door handle cover kit; check its listing for its finish. The notes are what separate them:
- DH52345 (this kit): does not include passenger key access
- DH53361: includes smart key access
This listing has no note about smart key openings, so the catalog does not say whether these covers have any. If your Escape or Focus uses keyless-entry touch points on the handles, look at DH53361 first, and call if you are unsure. If your handles are plain, this kit is the straightforward choice.
The passenger lock
The passenger-side cover is solid, with no key cylinder opening. Check your passenger handle before ordering, especially if you rely on that lock.
Eight pieces in order
The catalog does not label each cover. Sort them by door with the photos and keep each door's pair together.
Why ABS
ABS plastic molds tightly to a handle's curves, which is what a cover needs. QAA plates it in chrome and polishes it bright. The factory handles still work underneath.
Install it
QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime without causing any damage to the surface of the vehicle. Wash and degrease each handle and let it dry. Dry-fit, mark positions with painter's tape, then press firmly around each edge for several seconds. The Installation tab gives the full routine.
One door at a time
Working door by door keeps eight similar-looking pieces from getting mixed up. Finish two doors in a row, step back to check the line along the Escape, and then move on to the other two.
Why chrome at the handles
Handles sit at eye level and get touched every day, so they are one of the most noticed details on the side of a car. A set of chrome covers changes the look of the whole profile while the factory handles stay in place, and the job needs nothing more than cleaning supplies and an afternoon.
Weather
Choose a dry, mild day in the shade and keep the vehicle dry overnight. If the Escape was recently waxed, degrease a second time.
Care
Mild soap and a soft towel keep the chrome bright; leave abrasive pads out of it.

Installation tips: Door Handle Cover Kit
- Unpack all 8 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
