Product Description
Chrome Delete Black Grille Overlay 2019-2023 Jeep Cherokee (ABS6485BLK)
ABS6485BLK gives a 2019-2023 Jeep Cherokee a gloss black upgrade. Trim Illusion sells it as a grille overlay. Trim Illusion packs seven pieces in this set.
Fitment is the 2019-2023 Jeep Cherokee alone. Other years use different parts.
Add-ons for your vehicle
You can extend the look with MC6240BLK (mirror cover, gloss black), SM6100BLK (door molding set, gloss black), MC6316BLK (mirror cover, gloss black), DH6313BLK (door handle cover, gloss black), MC316 (mirror cover, chrome). Fitment differs by part, so verify each.
Design notes
People notice the grille before anything else. Rather than unbolting a new grille, you lay this over the old one. Gloss black works for a chrome-delete look. It looks sharp on light paint and blends on dark paint.
Getting it on
Installation is tape-on, per Trim Illusion. Nothing has to be drilled. Surface prep is what makes the tape hold. Construction is ABS plastic, so it will not rust.

Expect a box about 10.0 inches long. It keeps the factory parts in place.
Quote ABS6485BLK and we can look it up immediately. Stiff brushes can scratch it, so use a mitt.
Open the box and check the contents against the listing first. A dry run catches problems before they become permanent. Finish by checking every edge.
It makes sense for a vehicle you plan to keep a while. A second person helps with alignment on larger pieces. It photographs well, which matters if you sell later.
Aftermarket replacements often need cutting or drilling. It suits renters of garage space and driveway workers alike.
The eye follows lines of trim around the body. It is a quick win for the overall appearance.
Lower-48 delivery is free on this item. Your exact model year matters for this part.
Treat it like the rest of the exterior. Avoid pressure-washing edges at close range.
Small finish changes add up across a vehicle. It is one step toward a cohesive look.
Fleet and work-truck owners use trim like this to freshen older units. Plan a calm afternoon rather than a rushed half hour. It changes the vehicle's character in a small but clear way.
Line it up by eye and step back to check. Clean up with a soft cloth at the end.
Shipping is free within the contiguous United States. Double-check fitment before checkout.
Day to day, it needs no attention beyond washing.
A molded cover follows contours that wrap struggles with.

Installation tips: Grille Overlay
- Unpack all 7 pieces and match each one to its position using the product photos.
- Clean the mounting area with soapy water, then wipe with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. Wax or dirt will keep the tape from bonding.
- Dry-fit the part before removing any tape liner.
- Peel the liner, align carefully, and press firmly along the whole part.
- Avoid washing the vehicle for a day or so while the tape sets.
- Check the alignment against the photos when finished.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions included with the part if they differ.
