Chrome Grille Overlay 2018-2021 Chevy Equinox L, LS, LT (ABS502)
Trim Illusion catalogs ABS502, a chrome grille overlay, with the 2018-2021 Chevrolet Equinox at the top of its fitment list. Trim Illusion packs two pieces in this set.
How it mounts
Trim Illusion lists it as snap-on with tape. Both the fit and the tape keep it secure. No drilling on the Chevrolet Equinox. It is made of ABS plastic.
Compatibility notes
Camera fitment: Does not fit grille with Camera. Sub-model: L/LS/LT.
About the finish
The grille is the face of the vehicle. No bumper cover removal is needed, because the original grille stays in place. Bright chrome adds a premium touch. It keeps the trim consistent with other bright accents.
It is cataloged for the 2018-2021 Chevrolet Equinox and nothing else. Your registration shows the model year.

Our team at 877-752-3811 can check fit before you order. A normal car wash is all it needs.
Check the pictures for the exact shape and coverage. Shipping weight is around 4.9 lb. Give yourself a clean, well-lit space.
Write down ABS502 for your records. Factory parts in a different finish usually cost more.
It does not ask for anything beyond normal care. A gentle rinse after winter driving helps.
There is no shipping charge on lower-48 orders. When in doubt, ask before you buy.
One mismatched part can stand out more than you expect. It fills a gap many owners notice.
A molded cover follows contours that wrap struggles with. This route keeps the factory parts intact.
It suits anyone tired of the stock appearance. A second person helps with alignment on larger pieces. Small details like this set a vehicle apart in a parking lot.
Start by matching each piece to its position on the vehicle. Hold each part in place to confirm the shape lines up. Once it is in place, press evenly across the whole part.
Compared with painting, a cover is the quicker route. There is no paint booth involved.
Open the box and check the contents against the listing first.
It goes through regular washing with the rest of the vehicle. Keep wax and polish off the edges where possible.
Trim is where many factory cost cuts show. It makes the change visible from the street.
Orders to the lower 48 ship at no charge. Confirming the year and trim first saves time.
It makes sense for a vehicle you plan to keep a while. Patience matters more than tools here.

Installation tips: Grille Overlay
- Unpack all 2 pieces and match each one to its position using the product photos.
- Clean the mounting area with soapy water, then wipe with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. Wax or dirt will keep the tape from bonding.
- Dry-fit the part over the factory piece to confirm it seats, then remove it.
- Peel the tape liner, line the part up, and press until it snaps into place.
- Press firmly along the taped areas.
- Check the alignment against the photos when finished.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions included with the part if they differ.
