How it mounts
ABS6502BLK is snap-on with tape. You get a mechanical fit plus tape. No holes are needed. The part is molded ABS plastic.
The look
The grille is the face of the vehicle. With an overlay, the factory grille stays put and gets covered. Gloss black gives a deeper, more uniform appearance. It is a good fit if you never liked factory chrome.
Stiff brushes can scratch it, so use a mitt. The shipping box is about 45.0 x 14.0 x 6.0 inches.
Not sure it fits? Call us at 877-752-3811. Look closely at the images, especially near sensors and emblems.
Lay all pieces out before starting. It skips the downtime of a paint job.
Have part number ABS6502BLK handy when you call.
It does not ask for anything beyond normal care. Dry it with a soft towel to avoid water spots.
Accents work best when they repeat around the vehicle. It brings this area in line with the rest.
Wrapping complex shapes takes practice. It costs a fraction of shop work.
It makes sense for a vehicle you plan to keep a while. A second person helps with alignment on larger pieces. Done well, it looks like it came from the factory.
There is no shipping charge on lower-48 orders. Ordering the right part the first time avoids returns.
Lay everything out in the order you will install it. Mark reference points with painter's tape if it helps. Give it time before the first wash.
Fleet and work-truck owners use trim like this to freshen older units. It does not require a lift or a garage full of equipment.
Lower-48 delivery is free on this item. Your exact model year matters for this part.
Trim is where many factory cost cuts show. It is a quick win for the overall appearance.
A molded cover follows contours that wrap struggles with. No masking or overspray to deal with.
Before starting, confirm everything arrived undamaged. Work from one side to the other in a consistent order. Recheck the edges after the first drive.
It goes through regular washing with the rest of the vehicle. A gentle rinse after winter driving helps.

Installation tips: Grille Overlay
- Unpack all 2 pieces and match each one to its position using the product photos.
- Clean the mounting area with soapy water, then wipe with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. Wax or dirt will keep the tape from bonding.
- Dry-fit the part over the factory piece to confirm it seats, then remove it.
- Peel the tape liner, line the part up, and press until it snaps into place.
- Press firmly along the taped areas.
- Check the alignment against the photos when finished.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions included with the part if they differ.
