Product Description
Chrome Delete Grille Overlay 2016-2017 Chevrolet Equinox (ABS6455BLK)
A gloss black finish for your 2016-2017 Chevrolet Equinox is what ABS6455BLK delivers. This Trim Illusion grille overlay is our listing for it. Expect two parts when you open it.
Design notes
A front end is mostly grille, from most angles. An overlay covers the grille that is already there instead of replacing it. A gloss black finish darkens bright trim. It looks sharp on light paint and blends on dark paint.
It is cataloged for the 2016-2017 Chevrolet Equinox and nothing else. Other years use different parts.

Treat it like the rest of the exterior. A gentle rinse after winter driving helps.

Weekend DIYers will find it approachable. A second person helps with alignment on larger pieces. The result reads as a deliberate design choice.

Inspect each piece before installation day. Hold each part in place to confirm the shape lines up. Clean up with a soft cloth at the end.
Normal cleaning keeps it looking right. Bird droppings and sap should come off promptly.
Accents work best when they repeat around the vehicle. It fills a gap many owners notice.
Fleet and work-truck owners use trim like this to freshen older units. It does not require a lift or a garage full of equipment. The finished look is clean and intentional.

Installation tips: Grille Overlay
- Unpack all 2 pieces and match each one to its position using the product photos.
- Clean the mounting area with soapy water, then wipe with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. Wax or dirt will keep the tape from bonding.
- Dry-fit the part before removing any tape liner.
- Peel the liner, align carefully, and press firmly along the whole part.
- Avoid washing the vehicle for a day or so while the tape sets.
- Check the alignment against the photos when finished.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions included with the part if they differ.
