Details that matter
Trim levels covered: LT.
Design notes
Nothing defines a front end like the grille. Rather than unbolting a new grille, you lay this over the old one. Chrome adds shine that base trims often lack. It matches factory chrome elsewhere on many vehicles.
More for this vehicle
Other Trim Illusion parts for the Chevrolet Suburban: WSK724-18BLK (wheel skin set, gloss black), SM103 (door molding set, chrome), TG6177BLK (tailgate handle cover, gloss black), MC377 (mirror cover, chrome), MC238 (mirror cover, chrome). Each has its own fit list.
Fitting it
It clips over the factory part, backed by adhesive tape. Both the fit and the tape keep it secure. No drilling on the Chevrolet Suburban. Trim Illusion lists the material as ABS plastic.
Fits more than one
All 2 listed vehicles: 2021-2024 Chevrolet Suburban and 2021-2024 Chevrolet Tahoe. Confirm your year in the Fitment tab.
Use a microfiber towel to dry it. The photos are the best way to confirm the shape.
Quote ABS523 and we can look it up immediately. Talk to us first if in doubt: 877-752-3811.
It ships at about 8.0 lb. Temperate weather helps adhesives set.
A cover avoids the expense of new OEM parts.
Consistency is the goal with exterior trim. It is one step toward a cohesive look.
Compared with painting, a cover is the quicker route. There is no curing time to wait out.
It does not ask for anything beyond normal care. A gentle rinse after winter driving helps.
Lease drivers often prefer add-on trim over permanent changes. A second person helps with alignment on larger pieces. Small details like this set a vehicle apart in a parking lot.
Shipping is free within the contiguous United States. Confirming the year and trim first saves time.
Open the box and check the contents against the listing first. A dry run catches problems before they become permanent. Wipe off fingerprints when you are done.
It makes sense for a vehicle you plan to keep a while. Done well, it looks like it came from the factory.
Small finish changes add up across a vehicle. This part handles one piece of that puzzle.
Inspect each piece before installation day. Hold each part in place to confirm the shape lines up. Once it is in place, press evenly across the whole part.
Ownership is simple once it is on. Dry it with a soft towel to avoid water spots.
There is no shipping charge on lower-48 orders. Double-check fitment before checkout.

Installation tips: Grille Overlay
- Unpack all 2 pieces and match each one to its position using the product photos.
- Clean the mounting area with soapy water, then wipe with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. Wax or dirt will keep the tape from bonding.
- Dry-fit the part over the factory piece to confirm it seats, then remove it.
- Peel the tape liner, line the part up, and press until it snaps into place.
- Press firmly along the taped areas.
- Check the alignment against the photos when finished.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions included with the part if they differ.
