Product Description
Chrysler 300 and Dodge Magnum Stainless Gas Door Trim (GC45760)
There are two vehicles on the Fitment tab: the Chrysler 300 from 2005 to 2010 and the Dodge Magnum from 2005 to 2008. GC45760 is listed for both, and the title names both with those years. Magnum owners should note the shorter span.
Both rows carry the same body description, 4-door, sedan and wagon. The catalog applies that combined list to each model rather than splitting it, so the sheet doesn't say which body styles belong to which nameplate. If you're not sure whether your car is covered, call before ordering.
For the Chrysler 300 or Dodge Magnum, the overlay is one polished 304 stainless piece, 26 gauge, made in the USA, mounted with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape.
It is not a replacement cap and not a replacement part. You MUST have the existing gas door to install this piece. The stainless is an overlay for the face of the door already on the car; it can't stand in for one that's broken or lost.
Year ranges, side by side
The Chrysler 300 row spans six model years, 2005 through 2010. The Magnum row spans four, 2005 through 2008. Both start in the same year but the 300's range runs longer, so a Magnum outside its four years isn't on this list.
Matching pillars
Two pillar post sets are cross-listed, and both are tagged for the sedan and the wagon. PP45760 has four pieces and PP45761 has six. QAA doesn't describe the larger set's additional pair, so compare each listing's photos or call to work out which suits your 300. Whichever you choose, it pairs with this gas door piece for polished stainless in two places on the side of the car.
Why start here
The gas door trim is a single flat piece with no partner piece, so it's quick to fit and a good way to judge the polished finish on your car before bringing pillars.
Attaching it
It installs directly over the existing surface, with no drilling. QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime without causing any damage to the surface of the vehicle. That depends on healthy paint, so check the gas door for peeling or faded clear coat, chips at the edges, and bubbles, and get those repaired first. The door should close flush.
Installation
Wash and dry the door, then degrease its face. Hold the trim against the closed door with the liner still on, adjusting it until there's an even border of paint all around. Mark that with painter's tape. Peel the liner, set the trim to your marks, and press firmly over the entire face; press again after a minute. Open the door slowly to confirm clearance. The Installation tab has the full process.
Finish and care
The polished 304 stainless is bright and reflective, and 26 gauge keeps the overlay thin. Install on a mild, dry day and let it set overnight before it gets wet. Clean with mild soap and a soft cloth, and wipe off fuel drips.

Installation tips: Gas Door Cover Trim
- Confirm your vehicle still has its original gas door. This trim mounts over it and does not replace it.
- Unpack the piece and hold it in position to confirm the fit before mounting it.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Step back and check alignment before pressing along the full length of the piece.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
