Placement
With the door closed and the liner on, set the trim in place and adjust until the border of paint around it is equal on every side. Have a helper hold it while you stand back if possible. Mark the spot with painter's tape on the body.
Final press
Peel the liner, line up with the mark, and press firmly across the whole face. Press again after a minute. Swing the door open gently to confirm it clears. The Installation tab has the complete process.
Day of install, and after
Pick a dry, mild day and keep the door dry overnight. Wash later with gentle soap and a soft cloth, and wipe off fuel splashes.
