A quick polished upgrade for the Kia Optima sedan: GC11805 is a one-piece stainless trim for the fuel door, listed for model years 2011 through 2015. It's 304 stainless steel at 26 gauge, made in the USA, mounting with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape.

One SX-only part to watch

Door check and prep
Make sure the fuel door closes all the way and sits flush; the trim needs a properly working door underneath. Check the paint for chips. Then wash the door's face, rinse, and wipe with degreaser to remove wax, especially near the edges. Let it dry.
Placing it
With the door shut and the liner still on, set the trim in place. Look at the border between trim and door edge on every side. Adjust until it's even, then mark a point on the body with painter's tape. Peel, align, and press firmly over the whole face, working from the center out. Press again after a minute and then open and close the door to check clearance. The Installation tab has full prep.

Start with this gas door trim. It's small, it's flat, and it shows you how the tape behaves before you move on to the porthole rings or pillar posts. Clean all the mounting areas in one pass, then install the pieces one at a time. And if your sedan is not an SX, skip the grille accent, since that one is listed for the SX only.
