GC11820 is a polished stainless gas door cover trim for the Kia Sorento 4-door SUV, 2011 through 2015. It's one piece of 304 stainless steel at 26 gauge, made in the USA. Mounting on the Sorento is with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape.
Important note
The catalog warns that this is not a replacement cap and not a replacement part. You must have the existing gas door to install this piece. The trim covers the outside of your Sorento's fuel door; the door and the cap behind it remain as they are.

The Sorento trim fits over the gas door's present surface. According to QAA, the tape will hold for a lifetime and not damage the vehicle's surface.
Prep the door
First, confirm the fuel door closes flush and latches properly. Then wash its face, rinse, and degrease, working into the edges where wax builds up. Inspect the paint; the tape needs it to be firmly attached. Dry fully.
Install
- Close the door and hold the trim on it, liner on.
- Check the margin at the top, bottom and both sides.
- Mark a reference point on the body with painter's tape.
- Peel and press firmly over the whole face, center outward.
- Press again after a minute; open and close the door to check it.
