Product Description
WP11822 Kia Sorento 2011-2015 Stainless Window Trim Package, Upper Trim & Pillar Posts, 14 Pieces
For the 2011-2015 Kia Sorento 4-door SUV, WP11822 is a fourteen-piece Window Trim Package in polished stainless steel. It includes the upper trim and the pillar posts, with no window sills.
Two packages with the same count
WP11823 also has fourteen pieces of upper trim and pillar posts, but its note says "cut for the model with factory window sills". This listing carries no such note. The record doesn't spell out which Sorento models have factory window sills, so the safest step is to look at the base of your side windows, compare with the photos of both packages, and call 877-752-3811 if you can't tell.
The other two Sorento packages
WP11821 is upper trim only, six pieces. WP11820 is the full twenty-piece package that includes the sills.
Upper trim and pillars
The record doesn't split the fourteen pieces between the two groups. Use the photos to separate the long upper pieces from the pillar pieces before you start.
Linked extras
Separate pillar sets (PP11820 to PP11822) and a six-piece sill set (WS11820) are linked. This package already has its pillar trim. Also in the group are a gas door cover, wheel well accents at 1", an "Upper Arrow" body side accent at 1" width, and two rocker trims noted "use perimeter".
Once you know which Sorento you have, the choice between the two is simple.
What the fourteen are made of
The fourteen Sorento upper trim and pillar pieces are polished 26 gauge 304 stainless that QAA cuts in the USA, set over the existing surface with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime with no harm to the 2011-2015 Kia SUV.
Confirm the version, then sort
Before unpacking fully, compare a couple of pieces with your Sorento and with the photos. Its twin, WP11823, is cut for the factory-sill model, so if the pieces don't match your windows, call before going further. Once you're sure, sort the set into upper and pillar groups, then by door.
Getting the Sorento ready
Wash and dry the SUV, then clean each frame top and pillar with a wax-and-grease remover and isopropyl alcohol just before its piece goes on. Leave the sills alone; they aren't part of this package.
Upper first, pillars second
On each door, fit the upper trim and then the pillar pieces, lining the pillars up with the top edge. Dry fit each piece with the liner on, mark with painter's tape and check the door closes freely. Bond by peeling a short section, placing one end and pressing along.
Looking after it
Don't wash the Sorento for a day. After that, soap and a soft cloth keep the polish clean; skip abrasive pads. If the pillars and upper trim don't meet as the photos show, stop and call 877-752-3811.
This package and WP11823 look alike on paper, so keep the box and packing slip until you've confirmed the fit on your Sorento.

Installation tips: Window Trim Package
- Unpack all 14 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
