Fitting each insert
Lay an insert on the strip and hold it with painter's tape. Look at it from a few feet away: centered top to bottom, ends where you want them? Then peel back a few inches of liner, set that end, and draw the rest of the liner out as you press the steel down. Press firmly along the whole insert at the end.
Placing the second insert
Measure where the first insert's ends sit relative to the door edges and repeat on the other door.
Afterward
Open each door to make sure nothing catches. Give it a day before the first wash. After that, mild soap and a soft mitt keep the shine up; skip abrasive pads.

Fit the Sierra inserts on a dry, mild day or in a garage, at room temperature.
