Product Description
Saturn Ion Sedan 2005-2007 On-the-Rocker Trim, 2.625", 4 Pieces (TH45410)
TH45410 covers the rocker below the doors on a 2005-2007 Saturn Ion four-door sedan. It's four polished stainless steel pieces at 2.625" wide, and the note is short: "Installs below the door."
Two Ion rocker kits
Two rocker records are linked for this car. This one sits on the rocker. TH45411 is a six-piece Insert Kit, 1.4" wide, that goes on the side molding instead. They cover different parts of the side, and the catalog doesn't say whether they're meant to be combined. If you want both, ask at 877-752-3811.
Sedan only
The fitment is the sedan. The linked accessories include a pillar kit, PP45412, tagged for a "Quad Coupe," which tells you the catalog treats that body separately. This rocker record lists only the sedan, so if you have the other body style, call before ordering.
Sizing
Measure the rocker face below each door and make sure a 2.625" band fits where you want it. Painter's tape at that width shows the result in a minute.
Material
The four 2.625" Ion strips go below the doors; QAA forms them in the USA out of polished 26 gauge 304 stainless steel and fixes them with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape over the existing surface. QAA states that tape will hold for a lifetime with no harm to the 2005-2007 Saturn sedan.
Rocker cleanup
Scrub away road film with soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry fully, and wipe with isopropyl alcohol. Touch up any chips first.
Four pieces
The record gives no layout. Use the product photos to sort them and mark the liners.
Install
Dry-fit with painter's tape and check from the front corner of the car. Peel a few inches of liner, set one end, and press along as you pull the rest. Firm pressure along each piece at the end.
Ion door openings
Measure the first pieces from the door openings and place the rest in matching positions.
Other linked Ion parts
Pillar trim (PP45410, PP45411, PP45412), SG45410 grille insert package, DH45410 door handle trim, GC45410 gas door cover, HD45410 hood accent, LP45410 license plate bezel, RD45410 rear deck accent, and two emblem records, SGR45410 and SGR45411. Those two emblem records carry notes that name other vehicles ("HIGHLANDER" and "MUSTANG"), so check the photos or call 877-752-3811 before ordering either.
Afterward
Open each door to check clearance and wait a day before the first wash. Mild soap and a soft mitt from then on.
Conditions
Ion: a dry, mild day or a garage.
Before ordering
Run through a short list: an Ion sedan from 2005 to 2007, a rocker face with room for a band just over two and a half inches, and a clear idea of whether you want the rocker or the molding covered. If you are unsure on any point, send a photo of the whole side to 877-752-3811.
A helper
Someone steadying the far end of each piece keeps it off the paint while you align it.
Bottom edge check
Look along the lower edge of the rocker for chips or curb scrapes and touch them up before the steel goes on.

Installation tips: Rocker Panel Trim, On the rocker
- Unpack all 4 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
