Prep
Wash and dry. Then wipe the bottom band of each door, and any surface the pieces will touch, with isopropyl alcohol until the cloth stays clean. Repair chips along the bottom edge and let the paint cure.
Install
Dry-fit with the liner on, bottom edge level with the door bottom. Peel a short section, press, and work along the piece as you remove the rest of the liner. Firm pressure over the whole surface at the end.
A helper for the long pieces
Have a second person hold the far end of any long piece clear of the paint until you're ready to press it down. A piece that touches early grabs where it lands.
