It's eight pieces of polished stainless steel for the 2000-2005 Buick LeSabre four-door sedan, and like the others it "Spans from the bottom of the molding DOWN to the specified width," so the steel starts under the side molding and runs six inches toward the bottom of the door.
Six inches versus three and a half

How it's built
The eight 2000-2005 LeSabre pieces are polished 26 gauge 304 stainless steel from the USA, each fitted below the molding over the existing surface with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. According to QAA, the tape will hold for a lifetime without damaging the sedan.
Get the molding right
The molding's bottom edge is the reference line for the whole kit. If any section has lifted or is missing, deal with it before you start. Nothing in the data says molding is included.
A wide band needs flat paint
Six inches covers a lot of door. Run a hand along the area and look at it in raking light for dents, chips or bubbles. Fix those first; the tape bonds only as well as what's under it.
Cleaning
- Wash with soap and water.
- Rinse and dry completely.
- Wipe with isopropyl alcohol across the full six-inch band.
Fitting the pieces
Match the eight pieces to the product photos and number the liners. Tape them in place dry. Once the line looks right, peel a few inches of liner, set the top edge tight to the molding, and press along to the end. Finish with firm pressure.
