HV43002 comes with a condition stated twice in its own catalog notes: "No Antenna" and "MUST not HAVE ANTENNA." This two-piece cowl vent accent is listed for the 2003-2006 Hummer H2 4-door SUV, and it is meant only for trucks without an antenna in the cowl area. If your H2 has one there, this kit is not the right part, and you should call before ordering.
Why the antenna matters
The cowl is the panel at the base of the windshield, where the vent openings are. A stainless overlay shaped for that panel has to clear whatever is mounted on it. QAA's notes make it clear the shape assumes no antenna, so check your truck before you buy. Stand at the front of the SUV, look at the cowl, and compare what you see with the product photos.

The material
Both pieces are made in the USA from 26-gauge 304 stainless steel and polished to a mirror finish. Because the shine is the metal, there is no plating layer to wear through. The 26-gauge sheet keeps each piece thin, so it lies close to the panel.
Installing on the cowl
HV43002 uses 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape and installs directly over the existing surface. No drilling, and the factory vent stays in place underneath. QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime without causing any damage to the surface of the vehicle.
The cowl collects leaves, pollen and wiper residue, so cleaning matters more here than on most panels. Clear the vent area, wash it, wipe it with a degreaser or rubbing alcohol, and let it dry fully. Set both pieces in place with the liners on and check that they line up evenly with the vent openings. Then peel one liner, press that piece down firmly along its whole length, and repeat with the second. Keep the wipers parked and off the new trim while you work.
