DTR versus the other two
Every Thunderbird sill set in this group is two pieces and fits the same years. What changes is the cut out:

The sill is the threshold along the bottom of each door opening. With two doors listed, the set has two plates. No width or length is listed, so compare the photos to your sills.

Type 304 stainless at 26 gauge, polished to a bright finish that's the steel itself. Each plate installs directly over the existing surface on 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so nothing is drilled. Clean thresholds
Vacuum each sill and wash away grit. Rinse, then degrease, removing every trace of dressing or protectant. Make sure the paint is solid where the plates will sit, then allow the area to dry completely.
Centering the lettering
A cut out draws the eye, so take your time on placement. Leave the liner on and hold the plate on the sill, checking that the DTR lettering is centered and reads correctly from outside the car. Mark both ends with painter's tape. Peel, line up, and press firmly across the entire plate, then a second time after a minute. Fit the second plate the same way and look at both with the doors open. Which one to choose
If you like lettering, this one or the logo set; if you prefer clean metal, the plain set. All three mount the same way.

Don't step on the plates until the next day. Install on a mild, dry day.
