Product Description
Ford Maverick 2022-2026 "MAVERICK" Stainless Tailgate Letter Inserts, 8 Pieces (SGR62310)
SGR62310 is an eight-piece set of polished stainless steel "MAVERICK" letter inserts for the tailgate of the 2022 through 2026 Ford Maverick pickup. MAVERICK has eight letters, one piece each. A note says "Rear," and the included-items line agrees with the title: QAA's 8 piece stainless steel MAVERICK tailgate letter insert, rear.
A clean listing
The count, notes and included line all describe the same product. No copied notes from other emblems appear on this record.
Fitment
Ford Maverick pickup, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026. The letter set has no cab note, while most linked parts are listed for the 4-door Super Crew.
Material
The eight MAVERICK letters are polished 26 gauge 304 stainless steel, made in the USA, and they attach over the existing tailgate surface with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. Per QAA, the tape will hold for a lifetime without harming the pickup.
Watch the repeats
MAVERICK has no repeated letters, which makes sorting easy. Still, match each piece to the photos before peeling, and keep them in order on a towel so nothing gets flipped or swapped.
A width quirk on the tailgate accent
RT62310, the linked tailgate accent, has a note of 5 3/16" width, a broad band of stainless across the gate that sits below or around the letters depending on your layout. If you plan to buy it, check its listing and call to confirm how it sits with these letters.
Other Maverick trim
Pillars with keyless entry cutout (PP62310, PP62311) or without (PP62312, PP62313); WS62310 sill faces; MI62310 molding inserts w1.5 and MI62311 cut for QAA WQ; WQ62310 wheel well accents w1.25; GC62310 gas door cover; DH62310 door handle covers with center cutout, driver side keyhole access only; MC62310 mirror covers. Check each listing for its finish.
Prep and install
Wash, dry and wipe the tailgate letters with isopropyl alcohol. Dry-fit, then peel and press each letter in order from M to K, firmly across its face. Avoid washing for a day.
Care
A soft brush and mild soap for the letter edges; dry with microfiber; non-abrasive polish for haze.
Questions
Call Quality Automotive Trims at 877-752-3811 about the letters, the accent's width or anything else before ordering.
Getting the spacing right
Inserts follow the tailgate lettering, so spacing is set by the word itself. What you control is accuracy: press each letter only once it sits squarely inside its outline. If one goes on slightly off, lift it straight away, before the tape grabs fully, and reset it.
Weather
Choose a dry, mild day. Cold steel and cold paint slow the bond, so warm the tailgate in a garage first if needed.
Lettering plus accent
If you're fitting RT62310 too, fit the accent first and the letters second, or the other way round. Either works; just finish one before starting the other, and look at how the two pieces sit together in the photos.

Installation tips: Graphic/Logo/Emblem
- Unpack all 8 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
