Ford Maverick 2022-2026 Polished Stainless Gas Door Trim (GC62310)
Made for the Ford Maverick 4-door Super Crew pickup truck, GC62310 covers model years 2022 through 2026, five years on a single Fitment row. It's a one-piece fuel door overlay cut from polished 304 stainless steel at 26 gauge, made in the USA. On the Maverick's door, 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape keeps it in place.
Before anything else: this is not a replacement cap and not a replacement part. You MUST have the existing gas door to install this piece. It dresses up the door the truck came with and can't take the place of one.
There's no drilling, and nothing to take apart. The trim installs directly over the existing surface, and QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime without causing any damage to the surface of the vehicle. For that bond to do its job, the paint underneath has to be sound. Check the door for chips around its edge, flaking or dull clear coat and small bubbles, and fix them before installing. Make sure, too, that the door closes flush and doesn't sit proud of the body.
Here's the short version of the install. Wash the door with soapy water, rinse, and dry it thoroughly, then wipe with a degreaser to clear away wax. Holding the trim against the closed door with its liner still on, move it until the strip of paint visible around it is the same width all the way around, and mark that spot with painter's tape. Peel off the liner, set the trim against the marks, and press firmly across its full face; go over it again after a minute. Open the door slowly to confirm it clears. The Maverick sheet cross-lists a good range of trim. For the pillars, PP62312 is a four-piece set and PP62313 a six-piece set, both noted as no keyless entry. WS62310 is a four-piece window sill set that covers the face of the sills only. Along the sides, MI62310 and MI62311 are eight-piece body molding insert kits, each 1.5 inches wide; the difference is that MI62311 is noted as cut for QAA WQ, so call if you plan to pair it with other side trim. At the back, SGR62310 is an eight-piece "MAVERICK" tailgate letter insert set, and RT62310 is a one-piece tailgate accent. RT62310's note gives it a 5 3/16" width, which makes it a broad band across the tailgate. WQ62310, DH62310, MC62310, PP62310 and PP62311 are listed by number only.
The polished 304 face gives a bright reflection, and 26 gauge keeps the overlay thin against the door. Choose a dry, mild day, and leave the tape a night to set before the first wash. Clean it later with mild soap and a soft cloth, and wipe up any fuel that drips on it.

- Unpack the piece and hold it in position to confirm the fit before mounting it.

- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
