Ford Maverick 2022-2026 Stainless Molding Insert Trim Kit, 8 Pieces (MI62310)
MI62310 brings polished stainless to the body side moldings of the Ford Maverick. The kit is eight strips, each 1.5 inches wide, cut from 26 gauge 304 stainless steel and made in the USA. Its fitment row is short and clear: Ford Maverick, 2022 through 2026, 4-door, pickup truck, Super Crew. The title gives the same model and years.
Two Maverick insert kits: which one?
The sheet shows a second eight-piece kit at the same 1.5 inch width, MI62311, with the same Super Crew tag. The one difference the catalog records is a note on MI62311 reading "Cut for QAA WQ," with "w/WQ" in its title; MI62310 has no such note. The sheet doesn't explain what that cut looks like, and WQ62310 appears only by number, so we can't describe it here. Since the tape goes directly over the existing surface, there's no drilling. Maverick prep is described on the Installation tab. The record also doesn't say which strip sits on which molding; the photos show the layout.
Before the first strip
The moldings carry the trim, so their condition decides the result. Look for ends that lift, cracks, or a waxy coating. Wash the moldings with soapy water, dry them completely, and wipe them with rubbing alcohol. Measure a molding face and compare it with 1.5 inches and the product photos.
Laying it on
Mark each of the eight Maverick strips' liners with its position from the gallery. Dry-fit with liners on, mark the ends with painter's tape, then peel and press each strip firmly along its full length. Work a few strips at a time, in mild, dry weather; the Installation tab lists the temperature range.
Confirming your truck
Check the year and count the doors, since the row is tagged for the 4-door Super Crew only. If anything on your truck doesn't match the row, a short call to 877-752-3811 with MI62310 handy settles it before you order.
