Prep and installation
QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime without causing any damage to the surface of the vehicle. No drilling or vent removal is needed.
Vent areas trap dust, pollen and wax in their edges, so clean them with care. A soft detailing brush and soapy water help, then a wipe with rubbing alcohol. Let everything dry completely; moisture in the vent edges can keep tape from grabbing. Lay out all nine pieces on a towel in the arrangement shown in the photos. Dry-fit each one with its liner on. Then install from one end of the row to the other, pressing each piece firmly along its full outline before starting the next.
