Installing the strips
Wash the moldings with soap and water. Dry them completely and wipe with rubbing alcohol to remove wax and residue. Let the alcohol flash off fully before any strip goes on.
Lay out the four strips by the photos and label each liner with its position. Dry-fit one strip with its liner on, align it with the molding edges, and mark each end with painter's tape. Peel the liner, set the strip on the marks and press firmly from end to end. Repeat for each remaining strip, stepping back after each to check that the line runs evenly along the side of the sedan.
