Materials
All sixteen Elantra pieces, from upper trim to pillars and sills, are USA-made polished 26 gauge 304 stainless steel that goes over the existing surface with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. Per QAA, the tape will hold for a lifetime without harming the Hyundai.
Three groups
Sort the set into upper, pillar and sill pieces, then by door. Take each door's pieces to the 2007-2010 Elantra, compare them with the windows and the photos and pencil each position on the liner.
Surface and cleaning
Inspect the frames, pillars and sill ledges for old adhesive, wax or loose paint. Wash and dry the sedan, then prepare each strip with a wax-and-grease remover and isopropyl alcohol right before its piece goes on.
Installing
Door by door: upper piece first, pillar pieces lined up beneath it, sill last. Hold each in place with its liner on, mark the ends with painter's tape and shut the door gently to confirm clearance. Then lift a short section of liner, press that end down and carry on along the piece.
Care
One day without washing, then mild soap and a soft cloth. If a piece doesn't line up as the photos show, keep it unbonded and phone 877-752-3811.
Loose pillar sets
If PP27340 or PP27341 is already on hand, keep it boxed while fitting this package.
Rear and lower parts
