Product Description
Hyundai Elantra 2017-2020 Stainless Window Trim Package WP17340, Upper Trim & Pillar Posts, 16 Pieces
WP17340 is a sixteen-piece polished stainless steel Window Trim Package for the 2017-2020 Hyundai Elantra 4-door sedan. The note reads "Includes Upper Trim and Pillar Posts, NO Window Sills".
Upper trim and pillars
Sixteen pieces cover the window tops and the pillar posts. The record doesn't give the split between the two groups.
The full package
WP17341 has twenty pieces and includes window sills. If you'd like the sills done as well, that is the one-box option.
Or buy sills separately
WS17340 is a four-piece Window Sill Trim Set at 0.375", noted "Face of sills only". The record doesn't say whether those match the sills inside WP17341, so compare the photos or call 877-752-3811 before choosing.
Pillar sets
PP17340 (4 pieces), PP17341 (6) and PP17342 (8, "Includes Rear Triangle piece") are linked separately. The record doesn't say whether the pillar pieces in this package include a rear triangle. Check the photos if that area matters to you.
More Elantra trim
- AT17340 body side molding accent at 1.375"
- TH17340 On the rocker strip at 1.25", installs below the door
- WQ17340 eight-piece wheel well accent at 0.875"
- GC17340 gas door cover
Sixteen pieces to sort
Lay the set out by door before fitting anything. Keep the pillar pieces in their own group so they don't get mixed with the upper trim, and check each against the photos.
What the sixteen are made of
The sixteen Elantra upper and pillar pieces come from polished 26 gauge 304 stainless steel cut by QAA in the USA, and they install over the existing surface with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. Per QAA, that tape will hold for a lifetime with no harm to the Hyundai.
Prep on the 2017-2020 Elantra
Wash and dry the car. Then prepare the frame tops and pillars door by door, using a wax-and-grease remover and an isopropyl alcohol wipe just before each piece goes on. The sills aren't covered here, so leave them alone unless you're fitting WS17340 at the same time.
Fitting
For each door, place the upper trim first and line the pillar pieces up beneath it. Dry fit every piece with its liner on and mark the ends with painter's tape. Check that the door opens and closes freely, then peel a short section of liner and press along the length.
Aftercare
Give the tape a day before washing. After that, mild soap and a soft cloth keep the finish bright. If a pillar or upper piece doesn't sit as the photos show, keep its liner on and call 877-752-3811.
Fitting the sill set
If you buy WS17340 to go with this package, fit those sill faces last, after the upper trim and pillars on each door, and check them against both the photos and the pieces already in place.
Sorting first
Before prep, separate the sixteen into upper and pillar groups and confirm each piece's door against the sedan and the photos.

Installation tips: Window Trim Package
- Unpack all 16 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
