Product Description
PP17341: Six Polished Pillar Covers for the 2017-2020 Hyundai Elantra Sedan
Six stainless covers, one Elantra sedan row, and a crowded sheet of related trim. PP17341 is the middle pillar set for the 2017-2020 Hyundai Elantra 4-door sedan, between the four-piece PP17340 and the eight-piece PP17342.
Fitment. Hyundai Elantra, 2017-2020, 4-door, Sedan. That's the only row. Anything else is a question for Quality Automotive Trims at 877-752-3811; quote PP17341.
Watch for overlap with WP17340. The sixteen-piece window trim package on this sheet says it "Includes Upper Trim and Pillar Posts, NO Window Sills." Pair that with a separate pillar set and you could end up with two sets of pillar covers. Decide which route you're taking, package or pillar set, and call before ordering both. Two more numbers, WP17341 and WS17340, appear on the sheet by number only; their own listings say what they are.
Six against four and eight. Only the eight-piece set carries a note, "Includes Rear Triangle piece." This listing has none, so a rear triangle isn't stated to be here. None of the three names its pillars. Open all three galleries and compare the outlines; the shapes that show up in only one gallery are what set it apart. Six Elantra covers are shown in the gallery; we can talk through them by phone.
Material. Polished 26 gauge 304 stainless steel, made in the USA. The shine is the metal itself, with no plated layer to chip.
Mounting. 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, directly over the existing surface. No holes, no clips, no panels off. See the Installation tab for the temperature range and cure time.
Coordinating parts. The sheet carries an eight-piece wheel well accent trim (WQ17340) at width 0.875, a four-piece body side molding accent (AT17340) at 1.375, a two-piece rocker trim (TH17340) at 1.25 that installs below the door, on the rocker, and a single gas door cover trim (GC17340). If you're planning to fit any of them, their listing photos show the shapes.
What pillar covers are. The pillars are the upright panels between and beside the side windows. Each of the six covers is a thin stainless piece shaped to a post's face, giving the Elantra a polished line with the panel untouched beneath.
Tools. Mild soap, rubbing alcohol, a few lint-free cloths, painter's tape and a pencil. A helper speeds things up.
Prep. Wash the pillar areas, rinse, dry with a microfibre. Wipe with rubbing alcohol and let it flash. Remove wax or ceramic coating where the covers will sit. Pick a dry, shaded day.
Fitting. Count six on arrival and match them to the photos, calling first if anything is bent or missing. Every Elantra cover has a matching view in the gallery. With backings on, offer each one up, sight along its edges and mark the place with painter's tape, writing the spot on the backing. When all six are mapped, peel and press one at a time, rubbing firmly from end to end and along both edges. Every couple of Elantra covers, stand back and look at the lines.
Trouble? A cover that won't seat should keep its backing on until you've phoned 877-752-3811.

Installation tips: Pillar Post Trim
- Unpack all 6 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
