Handling the triangle
Leave the triangle until its neighbouring covers are mapped, so you can see the space it fills. Test it with the backing still on and turn it until all three edges line up with the surface; if it seems the wrong way round, check the gallery picture again rather than forcing it. Once you're happy, peel the backing in one go, set the piece down gently, and press across its whole face with a soft cloth. Small parts carry little tape, so make sure the surface beneath is spotless.
The rest of the set
Wash, rinse and dry the pillar areas, then wipe each with isopropyl alcohol and let it flash. Remove wax or ceramic coating where tape will sit. Count eight covers on arrival, find the triangle, and match the rest to the photos. Map each with its liner on and mark its place. Do the Elantra covers singly, pressing each hard along its full length and both edges.
