Start with a soapy wash and a thorough dry, then wipe every contact area with isopropyl alcohol and let it flash off. Wax and coatings must come off first.
Sort the eight pieces and pick out the triangle piece using the photos. Dry-fit it first with the backing on, checking every edge, because shaped pieces leave little room for error. Then dry-fit the rest, marking both ends of each with painter's tape and writing the location on the backing. Peel and press one at a time, firmly along the length and every edge.
