What installation involves
Mounting is 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, placed directly over the existing surface, so there's no drilling and no trim removal. The listing doesn't describe how long the tape holds. In our experience, how well you clean is what decides it.
Wash and dry the pillars. Wipe each with rubbing alcohol on a lint-free cloth, then wait for it to evaporate. Clear any wax or coating where tape will land.
Eight parts means sorting. Before peeling, arrange them as the photos show, hold each to its pillar with the backing on, and label the backing. Small painter's tape marks at the ends make final placement easy. Peel, set, press firmly along the length, and compare each piece with the others once it's on.

Upkeep
