Start with a ruler

Working with narrow strips
Thin pieces are easy to set slightly crooked, and a small drift is easy to see on a long, narrow line. A few habits help. Mark both ends of each strip's position with painter's tape during the dry fit. Peel only part of the liner at first, tack one end down against its mark, then pull the rest of the liner as you press toward the other end. Check from a few steps away before you press the full length hard.
Confirm the cab
The only fitment row is the Crew Cab with four doors. Count the Tacoma's doors, then check it's a 2024 to 2026. If your Tacoma has a different cab, this kit isn't tagged for it, and we'd rather you call than guess. The Fitment tab repeats the same row for reference.
Prep
Wash the moldings with soapy water and let them dry, then wipe them with rubbing alcohol. Any molding that has lifted or cracked should be fixed first, since the stainless can only sit as straight as the surface under it. Install on a mild, dry day; the Installation tab gives the temperature range.
