Step one: the moldings
These inserts sit on the truck's existing moldings, so look them over first. Fix any cracks, peeling or loose sections. Wash with soap and water, dry, and wipe with rubbing alcohol.
Step two: placement
Lay the four strips out next to the photos, then label each liner with painter's tape. Hold each strip in place with the liner on, line it up with the molding edges and mark both ends. Peel, place on the marks and press firmly along the full length. After each strip, step back and look down the side of the truck to check that the line is straight.
