Eight pieces, one plan
More strips mean more chances to mix them up. Before cleaning, put the eight Tacoma inserts beside the gallery and sort them by position. Put a small strip of painter's tape on each liner and write its spot on it. That way, once you start, you only have to think about alignment. The Tacoma inserts are stainless, eight of them.

Installation
Inspect the existing moldings and fix any cracked or loose sections. Wash with soap and water, dry, and wipe with rubbing alcohol to remove wax.
Work through the strips one at a time. Dry-fit with the liner on, line the strip up with the molding edges, and mark both ends with painter's tape. Peel the liner, set the strip on the marks and press firmly along its whole length. Step back after each to check that the stainless line runs straight along the truck.

Care
Wash with mild soap and water and dry with a soft cloth. Abrasive pads and steel wool scratch polished stainless.
