Material and mounting
26 gauge 304 stainless steel, polished, made in the USA. The strips mount with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape and install directly over the existing surface, so there's no drilling.
Fitting six tapered pieces
Before peeling anything, sort the six strips by the photos and mark each liner with a position and an arrow toward the wide end. Clean the moldings: soap and water, dry, rubbing alcohol. Dry-fit each strip with its liner on and check that the taper follows the molding all the way along. Set painter's tape at the ends. Peel and press from the wide end to the narrow end. A helper holding the far end during the dry fit makes it easier to see the taper against the molding. The Installation tab gives the temperature range.
Camaro parts on the sheet, and some notes
GC50100 is a 1-piece gas door cover trim; PP50100 a 2-piece pillar post set; SV50100 a 6-piece side vent trim described as "Shark Fin" style. Two "SS" emblem sets appear: SGR50100 at 4 pieces, 3" tall, and SGR50101 at 4 pieces, 2" tall. SGR50100's line also carries a "SIGNATURE" decal note that doesn't fit an "SS" emblem, which we've flagged; call before ordering it. SG50100, a 1-piece front grille accent trim, is tagged "SS Model only," a restriction that applies to that grille part, not to this kit. WP50100, an 8-piece full window package with upper trim, pillar posts and window sills, is tagged coupe only. WP50102, WS50100, RI50100 and AT50100 are cross-listed by number only.
Molding check
Each strip lays over an existing molding, so inspect them all before ordering. Fix cracks or lifting ends, and plan to remove old adhesive or wax during prep, since the tape needs a clean, sound surface. Measure the flat face of a molding near each end and compare with 0.5 and 2.25 inches.
Care
