No drill. Each cover mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape set directly on the post's existing surface. Nothing is removed from the pickup. The Installation tab sets out the temperature window and cure time.
Cleaning. Treat each post as its own small job: car-soap water and a soft mitt, a rinse, a full towel-dry. Get rid of any wax, sealant or polish so the tape meets bare paint or trim. Where the paint is chalky, cracked or peeling, have it repaired first, because the tape is only as good as the coat beneath. Then wipe with rubbing alcohol on clean lint-free cloth, refolding until nothing more transfers, and run your fingers down the post to find any dents.
Fitting. Shade, dry weather and still air all help. Check the four against the gallery and tell us at once about any damage. Dry-fit each with its liner on until the border looks even, mask the outline and pencil a number on each mask. Then one at a time: peel, set in the mask, press firmly along its length and both edges. Lift the masks and check each margin.
