Product Description
Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain 2025-2026 Pillar Trim, 4 Pieces (PP65160)
One kit, two badges. PP65160 is a four-piece set of polished stainless steel pillar covers that QAA lists for both the Chevrolet Equinox and the GMC Terrain, each in 4-door SUV form, for model years 2025 and 2026. If your driveway holds either of these crossovers, this is the lighter of the two pillar kits QAA catalogs for them.
Before you order
Check two things: the model year on your registration and the badge on the tailgate. QAA's fitment for this part covers the 2025 and 2026 Equinox and the 2025 and 2026 Terrain, and nothing earlier. If your SUV is an older model year, this kit is not listed for it, and a quick call before buying is the easy way to avoid a return.
Shared fitment, explained simply
Chevrolet and GMC sell these two vehicles under different names, and QAA lists one kit for both. The catalog does not go into why, so the practical takeaway is just this: an Equinox owner and a Terrain owner of the listed years would order the same part number.
Four or six?
The companion kit is PP65161, a six-piece version with identical fitment. The catalog does not spell out which pillars each set covers, so the listing photos are your best comparison. Four pieces reads as a restrained accent; the larger kit brings more stainless along the glass.
About the steel
QAA makes these covers in the USA from 26-gauge 304 stainless steel and polishes them to a mirror shine. Because the metal is solid stainless rather than a plated plastic, the brightness is part of the material, not a coating that can wear through.
What pillars do
Pillars are the upright posts between and beside the side windows. Covering them in polished trim gives the side profile a crisp, framed look. The covers are purely cosmetic and sit over the original posts.
Mounting
Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape and goes on over the existing surface. QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime without causing damage to the vehicle surface. Clean the pillars, remove any wax, dry-fit, then peel and press firmly. Work in mild, dry weather and wait a few days before washing. The Installation tab walks through every step.
Living with it
A soft towel and mild soap are all the polish needs. Skip abrasive pads, which can haze a mirror finish. Rinse road grime off before wiping, so grit is not dragged across the steel, and dry with a clean cloth to avoid water spots on the polished faces.
Where to look next
The Specs tab lists material, finish, and piece count. The Fitment tab shows both vehicles exactly as QAA records them. Part number PP65160, UPC 840251605292.

Installation tips: Pillar Post Trim
- Unpack all 4 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
