Product Description
6-Piece Polished Pillar Covers for 2025-2026 Equinox and Terrain (PP65161)
Six pieces of mirror-polished stainless steel, cut for the window pillars of two closely related SUVs: the Chevrolet Equinox and the GMC Terrain, model years 2025 and 2026, 4-door body. PP65161 is the fuller of the two pillar kits QAA links for these vehicles. It is listed for the 2025-2026 Equinox and the 2025-2026 Terrain, both as 4-door SUVs.
Who picks the six-piece kit
Owners who want the stainless to be noticed. Compared with the four-piece PP65160, this set brings two additional covers to the side glass. QAA's catalog does not list which posts the additional pieces dress, so call 877-752-3811 to compare both kits. The fitment for the pair is the same, which keeps the choice simple: it comes down to taste.
The vehicles, exactly as listed
- Chevrolet Equinox, 2025-2026, 4-door SUV
- GMC Terrain, 2025-2026, 4-door SUV
Earlier model years are not part of this listing. When in doubt, check the year on your title or registration.
Made from real stainless
The covers are produced in the USA from 26-gauge 304 stainless steel and polished until they reflect like a mirror. There is no chrome plating involved; the shine belongs to the steel itself, which keeps all six pieces looking alike from the first day.
How it goes on
Installation does not require tools beyond cleaning supplies. Every cover mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape and mounts directly over the existing pillar surface. QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime without causing damage to the vehicle surface.
A good sequence: wash and dry the pillars, wipe them down to remove wax, hold each cover in place to check alignment, then peel the backing and press along the entire piece. Pick a mild, dry day, keep the vehicle out of harsh sun while you work, and hold off on washing for a few days. The Installation tab has the full process.
Getting an even look
Six covers give you six chances to get the reveal wrong, so take each one slowly. Fit one cover, step back, then fit the next while comparing it with the first. Small adjustments are easy during the dry-fit and much harder once the tape grabs.
Upkeep
Use a mild soap and a soft, clean towel. Avoid scouring powders and rough pads on the polished faces. A rinse before wiping lifts loose grit, and drying afterward keeps water spots from dulling the reflection.
Why Equinox and Terrain owners choose pillar covers
Uncovered, the pillars keep whatever finish they had when the SUV was new. Polished covers give the side windows a defined border, which is noticeable from a distance as well as up close. Because the trim sits over the original posts, nothing on the SUV is altered underneath. It is a straightforward way to personalize an Equinox or Terrain without body work, and it pairs naturally with other stainless accents if you fit them later.

Installation tips: Pillar Post Trim
- Unpack all 6 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
