Product Description
Six-Cover Pillar Post Trim for the Buick Park Avenue 1991-1996 (PP31581)
Six polished stainless pillar covers for the four-door Buick Park Avenue sedan, 1991-1996: that's PP31581, at $67.99. The covers are made in the USA from 26 gauge 304 stainless.
This is the middle option of three linked Park Avenue pillar sets. PP31580 has four covers and PP31582 has eight. All three are listed for the same years and the same 4-door, Sedan tags, and none of them has notes, post names or widths. That means the galleries are the only way to see what the six covers here are for. Count the shapes in each set's photos and hold them up against your own posts. If six covers put polished steel where you want it, order this page. If four or eight look closer to your plan, the other listings are linked.
You'll also see GC31580 linked. It's a one-piece gas door cover, a different part for a different place on the Park Avenue, and it's sold separately from these pillar covers.
If you can't decide between the three, phone Quality Automotive Trims on 877-752-3811 with PP31581 and your year. We can go through the galleries with you.
The six covers only change the look of the posts. Each sits over a post next to the side glass, and the Buick's doors, windows and seals keep working as normal. The 304 alloy resists corrosion by its composition; nothing is plated.
All six fix in place with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, bonding to whatever paint or trim the posts wear today. There's no drilling and no trim to pull off the sedan. The Installation tab covers the temperature range and the cure time.
Six posts need preparing, and the tape holds only as well as each surface allows. Watch for a white, powdery bloom, a fine web of cracks, an edge lifting off, or a residue of wax or polish, and put right whatever turns up. After that, wash all six posts with car soap, rinse, dry them fully, and wipe with rubbing alcohol on lint-free cloths, going to a clean cloth each time until one stays clean.
Have car soap, a bucket, alcohol, a good pile of cloths, painter's tape and a pencil ready. A second person standing a few steps back is the easiest way to check each cover.
Choose a still, dry day out of the sun. Count the six against the gallery and ring us about any piece that's bent or missing. Group them by position, using the photos. For each one, keep the liner on, hold it to its post, adjust it until the gap is equal and outline it with painter's tape. Remove the liner, settle the cover within the outline, then press firmly along its full length and both edges. Do the next cover, then move on.
If one of the six won't lie flat, keep its liner on and call 877-752-3811. Once cured, wash them with car soap and dry them with a soft towel.

Installation tips: Pillar Post Trim
- Unpack all 6 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
