Product Description
Buick Park Avenue 1991-1996 Pillar Post Trim, Four-Cover Set (PP31580)
PP31580 brings four polished stainless pillar covers to the Buick Park Avenue sedan of 1991-1996. It costs $56.99, and the covers are 26 gauge 304 stainless, made in the USA. The fitment row is tagged 4-door, Sedan.
It's the four-cover entry in a linked group of three Park Avenue pillar sets. PP31581 has six covers and PP31582 has eight, and all three list the same model years and tags. None of them carries a note, names its posts or gives widths, so the photographs are what separate them. Go through the three galleries, count the shapes in each, and match those shapes against your Park Avenue's posts. If these four cover the posts you care about, this set does the job; if the six- or eight-cover photos fit your plan better, order that listing instead.
Also linked is GC31580, a single gas door cover. That's a separate part for a different spot on the car, and it isn't part of this pillar set.
Quality Automotive Trims can help on 877-752-3811 if any of the galleries leaves you unsure. Mention PP31580 and your year. Because all three sets share one fitment row, the year alone won't pick between them; what you want covered is the deciding question, so have a look along the side of the car and decide which posts you'd like in stainless before you ring.
The covers are cosmetic. Each one rests on a post beside the side windows, and the sedan's doors, glass and seals are left untouched. Grade 304 stainless holds up against corrosion through its alloy, with no plating to wear.
The four attach with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, which bonds to the posts' existing paint or trim. You won't drill the Buick or remove any of its trim. Read the Installation tab for the temperature range and cure time.
The tape depends on the four posts underneath, so look each one over first. Chalky residue, a craze of fine cracks, an edge starting to lift, or old wax and polish should all be repaired or stripped away. Wash with car soap, rinse, dry completely, and wipe every post with rubbing alcohol on lint-free cloths, swapping cloths until one comes off spotless.
You'll want car soap, a bucket, alcohol, cloths, painter's tape and a pencil. Recruit a helper to step back from the Park Avenue and judge the covers.
Work on a dry day in shade with no wind. Check the four covers against the photos and call us about anything bent or missing. Use the Park Avenue photos to place each cover. With the liner on, hold a cover to its post and shift it until the reveal is even, then frame it with painter's tape. Peel the liner, place the cover inside the frame, and press firmly down its length and along both edges. Fit the next cover before you start the last two.
If a cover refuses to sit flat, keep the liner on and call 877-752-3811. After the cure, wash the covers with car soap and pat them dry with a soft towel.

Installation tips: Pillar Post Trim
- Unpack all 4 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
