Product Description
Six-Cover Stainless Pillar Post Trim, Ford Explorer 2011-2019 Without Keyless Touch Pad (PP51333)
The set. PP51333 is a six-cover pillar post set for the Ford Explorer, $84.49, in polished 26 gauge 304 stainless steel made in the USA. One fitment row, Ford Explorer 2011-2019, tagged 4-door, SUV. One note: "Does not include keyless touch pad."
Touch pad or not. In this record the Explorer sets come in pairs. Six-cover sets: this one, and PP51331 noted "Includes keyless entry touch pad," at the same price. Four-cover sets: PP51332 without the touch pad and PP51330 with it. Nothing in the record explains what that wording means for the covers themselves, so we won't describe a difference we can't confirm. Two things to do before ordering: see whether your Explorer has a keyless entry touch pad, and compare this gallery with PP51331's.
Coverage. The record doesn't name the six posts or give widths, for this set or any of its siblings. The photos show what each set covers, so lay them alongside your own Explorer and count the posts you want covered before deciding between four and six.
Linked trim. TH51330, a six-piece upper rocker panel kit for the same row, is sold on its own listing and doesn't come with this set.
Year. 2011 to 2019, from the row. An Explorer outside those years isn't covered; your records will show which you have.

Cosmetic only. The covers dress the posts, and the doors, glass and weatherstrip keep working as they did. 304 stainless resists corrosion by its alloy, not by plating.
Mounting. Each of the six mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape over the post's existing surface. No holes, and no trim taken off the Explorer. Temperatures and cure time are on the Installation tab.
Getting ready. Gather painter's tape, a pencil, rubbing alcohol, car-soap water and a pile of lint-free cloths. Remove wax and polish from all six posts. Repair paint that's powdery, crazed or flaking. Wash, rinse and dry, then wipe each post with rubbing alcohol until a clean fold shows nothing, and check by touch for dents.
Fitting. Shade, a dry day, no wind. Compare the six with the gallery and report any damage before you start. Number the posts on tape. For each cover: liner on, hold it up, shift it until the reveal is even, frame it in tape; liner off, into the frame, firm pressure along the face and both edges. Step back and check before going on.
Trouble seating one? It happens now and then: a cover rocks when you press one end, or a thin gap stays open along an edge. Don't press harder or trim anything. Keep that cover's liner on, put it aside on a clean towel and ring us on 877-752-3811 so we can work out what's going on. Once the rest have cured, wash the set with car soap and water and dry it with a soft towel.

Installation tips: Pillar Post Trim
- Unpack all 6 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
