Getting the job right
Pick a dry day and a shady spot. Check the temperature range on the Installation tab, and plan to keep the Sorento dry for the cure time listed there.
Clean first. Wash the pillar areas, rinse and dry with a microfibre towel. Wipe each with rubbing alcohol on a clean rag and let it flash off. Remove wax or coatings where the tape will go.
Then map. Lay the six covers out and match them to the photos. Hold each to the car with its backing still on, sight along both edges, and flag its position with painter's tape. Pencil the location on the backing.
Then press. Peel one backing, line the cover up with your marks and push firmly from end to end and along both edges. Then move on to the next cover. Step back now and then to check the lines look even.
