Taking the covers in order with their liners on, hold one to its post, ease it about until the gap round it is even, and fence it with tape. Peel, fit it within the fence and press firmly along the face and both edges. Measure it by eye against its photo, then go on.
A cover that rides up over a bend in the post, or rocks when you touch one end, should stay unpeeled. Put it aside and call 877-752-3811. When the tape has fully cured, wash the eight with car soap and water and towel them dry gently.
