Measure the space
Set a tape measure at the bottom edge of your side molding and look five and a half inches down. That band needs to be smooth paint with no dents, holes or accessories in the way.
Material and adhesive
On the Titan Crew Cab, ten strips of USA-made polished 26 gauge 304 stainless are pressed on under the molding using 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. Per QAA, that tape will hold for a lifetime and leaves the Nissan unharmed.

Prep on a work truck
