TH53238 is a pair of polished stainless steel rocker strips, 1.25" wide, for the 2013-2018 Cadillac ATS sedan. They "Install below the door," on the rocker.
The simplest ATS kit
Two pieces, one width, one placement. For a thin polished line under the doors, this is the ATS listing. TH53236 is the wider below-the-door choice with four tapered pieces. TH53235 goes on the doors, and TH53237 covers both areas.

Material
The two ATS strips are polished 26 gauge 304 stainless, made in the USA, bonded below the doors over the existing surface with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. According to QAA, the tape will hold for a lifetime without harming the Cadillac sedan.
A guide for a straight line
Stick painter's tape along the rocker where the strip's top edge should run. Check it from the front and rear corners, adjusting until it looks even, then lay the strip against it.
Clean
Scrub the ATS rocker with soapy water and a soft brush, rinse and dry it, then wipe the area with isopropyl alcohol.
Laying
Ask a helper to hold the far end against the guide while you peel the liner from the near end and press as you go. Before the final press, open both doors on that side to confirm they clear.
Placing both strips
Measure from the front wheel opening to each ATS strip end and match the two.
