2.5" or 1.25"?

Match the pieces to the photos and number the liners. Dry-fit a full run before peeling anything, so you can see the joints line up.
Cleaning
Wash the rockers with soapy water and a soft brush, rinse, dry, and wipe with isopropyl alcohol along the full length. Older paint here can be chipped; touch it up before covering it.
Installing
A painter's-tape guide line keeps the top edge straight. Peel and press one piece at a time, butting each against the last as the photos show, and press firmly along the full length. Fit the rest at the same height. Keep it dry for a day.

Where pieces meet, the seams should be tight and level. After each run, crouch at the front wheel and look along the rocker toward the back. Any piece sitting high or low shows clearly from there; lift it within the first minute and reset it.
