Material
The Mazda3 hatchback set is four arch strips that QAA forms in the USA out of polished 26 gauge 304 stainless, all secured with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime with no damage to the 2004-2009 car.
Lower trim options
TH27750 is a four-piece rocker insert kit at 2.75-3.5", noted "Side Molding", and MI27750 is a four-piece body molding insert kit at 0.875". If you plan either, fit it before the arches so you can see the whole side.
Preparing the Mazda3
Work on one corner at a time from start to finish. Wash its opening, dry it, and give the lip a few minutes to drain. Check the paint where the stainless will sit, and clear old adhesive, wax and loose flakes. Wipe with wax-and-grease remover. With the piece ready in your hand, finish with isopropyl alcohol.

Present the piece on its liner and tape it at both ends. Compare its position with the photos and check the gasket along the opening. Pull back a short length of liner at one end and press the stainless down firmly; keep peeling and pressing in small steps until the far end is set. Then prep and fit the other opening on that axle, and compare the two before moving on.
