Material
The Altima set is made in the USA from polished 26 gauge 304 stainless steel and mounts on top of the existing finish with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. QAA says that tape will hold for a lifetime without damaging the surface.
Three rocker kits
Three rocker options are listed for the sedan, each covering a different area. TH27550: four pieces at 2.25", on the doors only, spanning from the bottom of the door up. TH27551: four pieces at 4", "Cut to the Molding", spanning from the bottom of the molding down. TH27552: four pieces at 0.875", "On the Molding; Side Molding". The record doesn't say which can be combined; ask 877-752-3811 before buying more than one. Rocker trim goes on before the arches.
Arch cleaning
Before any tape, the paint has to be bare and dry. Soap each opening and rinse it thoroughly. Towel it dry and leave the car standing while the lip empties. Look for anything left on the band the stainless will cover: residue from a previous part, polish in the seam, a lifting chip. Remove or repair it. Apply wax-and-grease remover; isopropyl alcohol follows immediately before fitting.
Fitting the Altima set
Dry-fit first, every time. Hold the piece to the arch with its liner on and tape its ends. Look from the side, then from low down, to see the gasket lying against the opening. Then begin the bond at one end, separating the liner a short length at a time and pressing straight after. Carry on to the far end, give the whole piece a firm press, and repeat on the next opening.

Care
